Ferrari shines at 2022 Monterey Car Week
Presentations of new models, Concours d’elegance, rallies and auctions of exclusive cars. This is Monterey Car Week, a celebration of excellence and luxury of the automotive world that takes place in California every year.
An opportunity to see previews of models entering production, as well as concept cars, the Monterey Car Week is one of the greatest auctions events, and the most appreciate Concours d’elegance held in Pebble Beach.
Ferrari Classiche always at the top
It is the Pebble Beach auction event that saw Ferrari stealing the scene. In evidence the Ferrari 410 Sport Spider by Scaglietti. Associated to racing legend, Juan Manuel Fangio, the car took part of 1956 Buenos Aires 1000Km race, driven by the Argentinian legend.
This Ferrari is truly a special one, Carrol Shelby was another driver of this model between 1956 and 1957, in which the American racing legend have his personal record of 10 wins with a single car.
The fuel tank has an inscription from Carrol Shelby himself. “Mr. Ferrari said this was the best Ferrari he ever built”.
The 410 Sport Spider was the record fee for the 2022 Pebble Beach event, sold for a record 22 million dollars.
The essential starting point of these impeccable models, as the 410 Sport Spider seen at the Pebble Beach auction brings attention to the Ferrari Classiche program.
The Classiche program provides unique services, including the Certificate of Authenticity for all Ferraris over 20 years old, also available for Formula 1 models, sportscar and prototypes, with no restrictions on the age of the car.
Other Ferraris dominating the Monterey Car Week
The Peninsula Classics Best of the Best Awards goes to a Silver 250 GT Berlinetta Competizione. Pristine condition, this Ferrari, one of the nine model built, participated the 1959 Tour de France.

Other 250 GT models took the scene at the Pebble Beach auction. The 250 GT Coupe and Roadster sold for figures exceeding 5 million dollars, and a unique 1966 275 Gtb/C red, taking the auction scene and sold for over 7.5 million dollars. 
Representing Formula 1, Pebble Beach auction the incredible and dominating F300. The iconic single seater, driven by legend Michael Schumacher, won 4 races in the 1998 Formula 1 season.
Bought by first owner in 1999, finally sold at the Monterey 2022 Car Week for almost 6.3 million dollars.
In occasion of the 75th anniversary, Ferrari wanted to celebrate in style. The event was spectacular, bringing in a must-see display of the history and passion of the prancing horse.
