Ferrari Challenge wraps up 2022 Season in Sonoma, California

The Ferrari Challenge series ended its North American season with a visit to wine country and the 2.52-mile Sonoma Raceway.

The Beautiful Sonoma Valley Racetrack

One of the most scenic races, in the heart of Wine country, and just an hour north of San Francisco, this classic is deemed as one of the best racing tracks in USA and best host of the Ferrari Challenge.

This weekend was a hot one in California, with temperatures nearing 100 degrees and stressing out tire management and car’s performance.

That combined with a tricky, low-grip circuit the 488 GT3 evo got tested out to its limits in the extremes of this race weekend.

Ferrari Challenge and Corso Pilota

Although Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale did not appear much in this season – just 1 strong appearance in Daytona – a numerous amount of Ferrari Clients joined the 2022 Corso Pilota, with high hopes to turn in Ferrari Challenge drivers.

Hopes are that the legacy of the Fort Lauderdale team, one of the most winning in the seasons 2016-2020 will come back with a team ready to take on the fellow competitors.
